After years of researching the industry, assessing exceptional hair and refining every detail, we created a collection we're genuinely proud to share.

From the very beginning, our mission has remained the same—to build a brand our customers can trust by offering exceptional products, honest guidance, and a truly personal experience from beginning to end.

Meet Nicki

For more than a decade, I've personally worn premium hair extensions and experienced firsthand the confidence they can bring. Like many women, I also discovered that finding truly exceptional quality wasn't always easy.

As a Registered Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, my career has always been centered on caring for women, listening to their needs, and providing trusted support through some of life's most meaningful moments.

At The Mermaid Hair Collective, I bring that same compassion, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence into every product we offer.

Every collection has been carefully chosen because it's something I would genuinely wear myself.

Meet Ewan

With almost 20 years of corporate business experience across New Zealand and Australia, I oversee the operational and business foundations behind The Mermaid Hair Collective.

My focus is on refining our standards and processes, and ensuring each customer enjoys an exceptional experience from their very first enquiry through to the arrival of their order.

Together, we've invested countless hours researching the industry, testing products and refining our collection—allowing us to offer premium-quality hair without ever compromising on craftsmanship, integrity or service.
